The long road ahead.

Well we have a long 6 week tour coming up and boy are we excited. We're excited to see the vast lands of the good ol' You Ess Of A. So, with that shit being said, we're going to be blogging bout all of the mistakes we make and just poor decisions that will be happening on a recurring basis. Ah yes, tour has begun. Tucson show flier

We haven't played Tucson in a while. So here's a flier for the last show of our tour with Landmine Marathon. I'm sure it'll be a rager. See you there? Tour with Landmine Marathon

So, in 2 weeks we'll be out on tour again, for the first time since last August. We'll be going with our buddies in Landmine Marathon for this week trek across the midwest and down to Texas. Be sure you come out to this as we'll be playing some new songs from our upcoming album, set to be sometime released in the next 30 years (summer). And we went and saw Heartsounds last night at the Nomad Gallery. They were amazing! Ben and Laura did very well and sounded incredible. Great job guys, it was fantastic!

Tracking - Day 14 or something

So, we've been at Awkward Studios putting together our latest record. All of the drums have been tracked, most of the guitars have been tracked, and we've put down 2 songs with vocals. This process has been new to us, being that this is the first time we've tracked our own record. It's definitely been a learning experience, but thus far we feel this has been better for the sound, or music, or whatever it is that we really do. None the less, we are extremely excited about this record. We have 11 songs (with probably 3 more that we'll record immeidately following this recording process) but not all 11 will make the final record. I think we'll go with about 9 songs on this release. Is it different than our previous record? I guess so. Do we think people will like it? Who knows. But we're stoked, and we honestly hope that you will be. More updates coming soon.

Recording / News

Hey everyone,
So, we have 8 songs tracked (drums only) and are shooting for the end of this week to wrap all of the drums up. Then, we'll start the guitars and proceed from there. I can give you two song titles, one of which we've played live, "Vultures" and "Monolith" are two tracks that will be on the record. We're still mulling over what the name of the record will be... We're not sure when it will be released, but that news is to come.

As for the release of the album, Prosthetic Records will again handle the duties as they have handled our last 2 records, (well, The Nature Of Betrayal was re-released, but alright). So, expect some kind of announcement about it in the near future once we've pinned down a date/time etc.

Also, we'll have about 4 new shirt designs for the SXSW tour and the final LIGHT THIS CITY shows. As for the LIGHT THIS CITY shows, be sure to buy your tickets in advance as I'm sure these will sell out... Just fair warning..
